Fetch by Adam Glendon Sidwell
A story for anyone who s ever been loved by a dog or given one a home.

At least nine sunsets away, there is a place where dogs can do what they want. But they are not all the same, and when a special one has the courage to fly, he finds something unexpected beyond the tenth horizon.

I absolutely loved this book!! I love dogs, so I always enjoy a good dog story. This one is extremely cute, about dogs living in their own world and doing things like flying a plane. But then one dog met humans, and learn to play and love.

Definitely recommend for dog lovers! The pictures were very nice and it has a sweet message.

AdamAdam Glendon SidwellAbout the Author Adam Glendon Sidwell

In between books, Adam Glendon Sidwell uses the power of computers to make monsters, robots and zombies come to life for blockbuster movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean, King Kong, Pacific Rim, Transformers and Tron. After spending countless hours in front of a keyboard meticulously adjusting tentacles, calibrating hydraulics, and brushing monkey fur, he is delighted at the prospect of modifying his creations with the flick of a few deftly placed adjectives. He really enjoyed writing 81,854 less words in his new picture book FETCH than he wrote in his first EVERTASTER novel, and hopes that you will like the ones he picked. Besides, FETCH has pictures.

Adam has also been rightfully accused of writing the upcoming novel CHUM.

Praise for the book:

“If you need & want a book for younger children that does not involve zombies, monsters, or overdone "superhero's", and just want a good old fashioned great story, perfect illustrations, and a captivating experience, then "Fetch" should be ordered quickly.”—Carol Anne Merrill Miller

“Simple, yet engaging, storyline appeals to readers of all ages and the illustrations glue your eyes to pages!” –Doodles

“The art work enchanted, enthralled, and grabbed me in ways paintings can and often do.” –Kindle Customer

Book Review: The Marriage Trap by Jennifer Probst

The Marriage Trap by Jennifer Probst
Marriage to a Billionaire #2
Author: Jennifer Probst
To satisfy his late father’s wishes, hot and single billionaire Michael Conte must find a bride—someone who will fit into his traditional family back home in Italy—and fast, so his engaged sister will be allowed to wed. With no intention of being tied down, Michael “proposes” to fiery, free-spirited photographer Maggie Ryan: if she will play the part of his fiancĂ©e during her trip to Milan for a photo shoot, he will keep away from her married best friend, Alexa, and stop making Maggie nuts with their too-close-for- comfort flirtations.

But once in Italy, sexual tension sparks the hottest no-strings- attached arrangement on any continent. Could marriage be the most enticing trap of all?
I've read a couple of books from this series but I don't know how or why I missed The Marriage Trap. So I wanted to read a sexy romance before bed and I knew this wasn't going to fail me.

Maggie is Nick's sister (from The Marriage Bargain), and hates Michael, a friend of the family. But when Michael proposes to her, only to make his family believe he is married, she accepts with some conditions to keep him away from her family.

Of course it was easy to pretend to be married for a week when they have so much sexual tension between them, but Maggie isn't ready to handle her new feelings.

It was a good romance. I enjoyed it. It seemed as if Maggie and Michael would never be a good couple but in the end they were made for each other. Maggie was a very strong character at the beggining but completely changed in the end, I'm not sure that's good or bad. She needed to make peace with her own past and open her heart. Michael was easier to convince and although he also had family issues, he handled it better. But I feel like there were some things left unresolved, like Maggie's career...

Still, I'd like to continue reading the Marriage to a Billionaire series, I'm curious about the other characters and like Jennifer Probst's writing style. I recommend this series if you want to read sexy and HEA romances.

Book Review: Ruined by a Rake by Erin Knightley

Ruined by a Rake by Erin Knightley
All's Fair in Love #1
It started with a kiss.

When nine-year-old Eleanor Abbington first met her uncle’s new stepson, Nicolas Norton, the boy rudely stole a kiss from her that set the tone for their contentious and competitive relationship. It wasn’t until years later when Nick introduced her to fencing that they finally had a proper outlet for their frequent arguments.

Having just emerged from mourning following her mother’s death, Eleanor is exactly where she wishes to be at the age of four-and-twenty: an on-the-shelf spinster and unofficial companion to her aunt. Unfortunately, her ambitious uncle has other plans for her future. On the eve of his house party, he lays down his ultimatum: either Eleanor marries the man of his choosing, or he'll force her seventeen-year-old sister to do so instead.

When Nick unexpectedly arrives on their doorstep after a two year absence, Eleanor is in no mood for their normal banter. Seeming to know exactly what she needs, Nick challenges her to pick up the foil once more. During their pre-dawn matches, he shows her just how strong she can be . . . and exactly how much he’s changed since leaving. But when her old adversary becomes her only ally, she may very well find herself . . . Ruined by a Rake.
Ruined by a Rake is a very sweet and fast romance to read if you have a couple of hours. Eleanor is being forced to get married by her uncle, and if she doesn't do it, her young sister will have to do it instead. She thinks she lost her fight until Nick, her 'cousin', comes back home and decides to help her.

I thought it was unusual that Nick, the hero in this story, was younger than Eleanor, but somehow it worked. The story was good but the ending was way to fast and everything was resolved very quickly. I'd have like more, but it was ok to read before bed.
